At Allen Safety, we have a small, full time, highly trained team of passionate experts. If you schedule private coaching, you’ll come to know them well and develop a strong working relationship.
In matters of employee safety, we feel this environment is far superior to a revolving door of part-time employees with limited experience, looking to supplement their income to allow the pursuit of what they’re “actually” passionate about.
For our team, this is not a hobby we do to supplement a retirement from our “real” career. This occupation is our calling and its why we come in early and stay late on our own time to improve engineering and worker safety across the board. - First to Consult Start to Finish working with maintenance, engineering, & safety teams starting with the farms where the animals are raised, to the feed mills feeding the animals, the harvest plants processing the animals, case ready & further processers, the equipment manufacturers designing equipment for the plants, the refrigeration systems, and the sanitation companies and crews cleaning the production floors.
- Manage on-site safety consultation, auditing, and training actively every day of the year for clients
- Consult live with Incident Commanders & LEPC groups for chemical leaks either during leak or after to aid with regulatory agency preparation
- Provide consultation and training after catastrophic events, including fatalities, fires, amputations and caught in events, confined space rescues, chemical leaks, and citations
- Work pro-bono to aid with the re-designing of animal processing equipment to improve safety features, reduce risk to employees, and reduce the number of required confined space entries for new equipment and existing equipment upgrades that is installed worldwide.
- Work pro-bono with chemical suit and meter manufacturers to provide feedback from use in live scenarios, and to aid with improvements to PPE and gas detection equipment for future responses.
- Actively work with and train local fire departments and hospitals, as well as with internal state fire department trainers across the United States, including pro-bono after hours training courses
- Provide Frequent Consultation on OSHA Citation abatement
- Frequent overlap with regulatory agencies and government officials, including Fire Marshalls, OSHA regulators, EPA regulators, as well as USDA personnel
